Overland Expo Foundation Invites Attendees to Give Back at Pacific Northwest

Overland Expo is about more than exploring the outdoors. It’s also about protecting the places that make adventure possible. At Overland Expo PNW, attendees are invited to join the Overland Expo Foundation’s “Leave It Better Than You Found It” cleanup effort on Sunday, June 28, at 4:30 PM.

Hosted at the Foundation Tent, the cleanup helps remove the microtrash and debris that can accumulate throughout a busy event weekend. The Foundation works to leave every venue cleaner than when it arrived by providing exhibitors with trash bags and organizing a community cleanup before everyone heads home.

Gloves and trash bags will be provided, and participants are encouraged to stay afterward for food, drinks, and time with fellow overlanders who share a passion for protecting public lands and outdoor spaces.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can visit the Overland Expo Foundation’s blue tent next to the Ultimate Overland Vehicle to learn more about the organization’s mission, purchase raffle tickets for the Saturday evening raffle, and see how Foundation grants are making a difference across the overlanding community.

The Foundation’s impact extends far beyond Overland Expo weekends. Through grants and partnerships, it supports organizations and projects focused on land stewardship, outdoor education, conservation, and responsible recreation. Attendees can learn more about the work being done by past grant recipients and the positive impact these initiatives are having on public lands and outdoor communities by visiting the Foundation’s project archive.

Visitors can also explore the Foundation’s growing list of supported projects and conservation efforts, as well as learn about volunteer opportunities available at upcoming Overland Expo events, including Pacific Northwest, Mountain West, and East.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Overland Expo Foundation supports initiatives that preserve access to public lands, promote responsible recreation, and help ensure future generations can continue to enjoy the wild places we all value. Donations are tax-deductible and directly support the Foundation’s work throughout the year.
