Just 11 months after revealing the Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road as our Ultimate Overland Vehicle for 2021, the completed, well-traveled, and thoroughly tested rig has started its final chapter: going to auction on Bring a Trailer.
No Reserve: 2020 Toyota 4Runner Overland Expo Build for Charity
It’s been an incredible year that we’ve had with the 4Runner, starting with a stock unit that we handed off to the incredibly capable hands at MULE Expedition Outfitters. We loaded the MULE garage with gear. Then the folks at MULE transformed our 4Runner into the incredibly capable rig you see today.
A full listing of all the gear that made the 4Runner into the Ultimate Overland Vehicle as well as all of the stories it was a part of this year can be found on the build landing page.
Listed at No Reserve on BaT, 100% of the proceeds of the auction will benefit the Overland Expo Foundation, which funds stellar organizations and individuals who help protect and advance the overland community. So, not only will the 4Runner go on to have more adventures of its own, it will fund the adventures of others, as they do good across our world.
Overland Expo’s Ultimate Overland Motorcycle Goes to Auction on Bring a Trailer
Overland Expo would like to extend a big, heartfelt thank-you to the fine folks at Bring a Trailer for not only helping us with the auction but also for donating the buyer’s fee to the Overland Expo Foundation. It is heartening to have the support of such an influential auction site like Bring a Trailer.
Certainly, we are sad to see the 4Runner go. However, we couldn’t be more excited to see how much it fetches and where it ends up next. We encourage you follow the auction and share the auction. And, if you have the means, to bid on it as well.
