Dine and drink your way around the world at Overland Expo West! With craft beer, parties galore, and food trucks featuring everything from African-style samosas to Korean barbecue to Philly cheesesteaks, you’ll be sure to find something that suits your palate perfectly.

This year, Overland Expo will have two areas to eat and drink, the XPLOR Oasis Bar and Food Court and the Navajo Ramada Bar & Food Court. Both areas are in the heart of Overland Expo, in the midst of all your favorite exhibitors. We have more food trucks than ever before open during all public event hours, and some will have an extended service for those of you camping on site.

Eat Like a Local

Flagstaff has fabulous food trucks, and some of the local legends will be onsite at Overland Expo West for the weekend. Whether you’re looking for a burger or breakfast, these hometown favorites will be feeding you all weekend long:

  • 3’s in the Trees: southwest inspired sandwiches, tacos, and awesome seasoned fries and tots 
  • Single Speed Coffee Roasters: espresso drinks, breakfast burritos, delicious cold brew, and more
  • Square Root Burger: burgers, veggie burgers that even meat-eaters will love, and breakfast burritos
  • Stanzi’s Food Truck: healthy bowls, breakfast sandwiches, tacos, and burritos with vegan options
  • Wil’s Grill: Arizona-style BBQ, sandwiches, and the best tangy coleslaw you’ve ever tasted

International Flavors

Take a tour of the world from the XPLOR Oasis Bar and Food Court, and Navajo Ramada. With flavors that span the globe, here are a few of the food trucks that will compliment your round-the-world adventure ambitions:

  • Hibachibot: yummy Korean BBQ, bento boxes full of flavor, and Korean corn dogs
  • Ni De Aqui Ni De Alla: awesome street tacos, quesadillas, and breakfast burritos to fuel your adventure
  • Safari Samosas: awesome authentic African samosas. You will definitely want to try them all
  • Sue Hawaii: Hawaiian-inspired offerings
  • Tacos el Flaco: carne asada fries, tacos, and quesadillas, plus breakfast burritos to start your day

Something For Everyone, Plus Snacks and Drinks

From organic acai bowls to Philly cheesesteaks to high-octane energy drinks, the XPLOR Oasis Bar and Food Court and the Navajo Ramada Bar & Food Court have something for everyone. Here’s a sample from our food trucks’ menus to get your mouth watering:

  • ArizonaArizona Roasting Co: roasted sweet corn, green chile cheese wraps, and Sonoran hot dogs for the win 
  • Beverage Junkie: beat the afternoon lull with energy teas and Italian cream sodas
  • Bikini Bottom Concessions: Dole whip soft serve & Dole whip floats for your sweet tooth
  • Flyin K BBQ: the name says it all, BBQ entrees all-day
  • Montana Bar-BQ: BBQ loaded mac & cheese, beef, pulled pork, smoked chicken, and more
  • Nina’s Concessions: breakfast burritos, footlong corn dogs, curly fries, and strawberry lemonade 
  • Philly Up! Food Truck: excellent east-coast Philly cheesesteaks, with a side of fries, of course
  • Sally’s BBQ: ribs, sandwiches, and pulled pork mac & cheese, with cowboy beans and slaw on the side
  • Third Shot Coffee + Acai: organic Acai bowls with fresh fruit paired with cold brew coffee Dippin’ Dots
  • White Eyes Fresh Fry Bread: savory and sweet fry bread
  • White Mountain Food Co: mountains of funnel cakes and fries with specialty toppings

Craft Beer at the Mother Road Experience

Swing over to the XPLOR Oasis Bar and check out tSwing over to the XPLOR Oasis Bar and check out the Mother Road Experience, featuring vintage vehicles and a collaboration with the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Mother Road Brewing is a Flagstaff staple named after Route 66 that runs through town on its 2500-mile span of the country. They have a great weekend in store for you.

The Mother Road Experience will be serving up craft beer and tons of fun. Stop by for a frosty lager, check out their vintage vehicles, and play a game of cornhole. Mother Road will be featuring several special brews in addition to their staples.

  • Lowell Lager pays homage to the astronomers of Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff who have been peering into the Lowell Lager pays homage to the astronomers of Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, who have been peering into the cosmos to better understand our universe since 1894. 
  • Upland Orange celebrates the groves and agriculture along Route 66 with bright citrus flavors and exceptional color from the infusion of blood oranges in a graceful ale.
  • Great Commotion, a German-style bock, is inspired by Anna E. Durkee, who operated a successful all-woman mining company in Oatman. “I cannot see why a woman cannot run a gold mine just as well as a man,” she said. “But because I am a woman there is a great commotion over it.”
  • Archive Ale is Mother Road’s dark Russian Imperial Stout funds preservation of the past for future generations at Northern Arizona University’s Cline Library Special Collections and Archives.

In addition to vehicles and beer, Mother Road is teaming up with the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD), and the rangers will have local animals native to Arizona for you to see and interact with. Mother Road supports AZGFD with their Conserve and Protect Golden Ale, and a portion of all proceeds goes to protecting the state’s 800 unique species of wildlife.

Happy Hour and Plenty of Parties

The XPLOR Oasis Bar and Food Court features happy hour every day to quench your thirst after a day at Overland Expo. Meet your friends, listen to live music from some great bands, and share stories about the day’s happenings. You’ll have a chance to connect with some of our event partners and get the inside scoop on all the overlanding gear!

Just in case you needed another reason to camp at Overland Expo for the weekend, the evening exhibitor parties are not to be missed! Some will have hot chocolate and s’mores, and others will have beer and bourbon, but either way, the parties are a great way to engage with the community and have a great time with your friends.

If you’re a motorcyclist, the Rider Justice Moto Party is not to be missed. Your ticket includes a catered dinner, drinks, live music by the E&O Medicine Show, and awesome moto raffle prizes. The Rider Justice Moto Party sells out at every event, so don’t forget to get your add-on ticket to take part in the fun.
