AARON ESTEPMOTORCYCLE INSTRUCTOR

Aaron’s love for motorcycles began at a young age. Once he felt the freedom of his first dirt bike, he was hooked. Aaron has turned that love of motorcycles into his career. He has been an officer with the Fort Worth, Texas, Police Department for fifteen years, nine of which, he has worked in the motorcycle division. He is now a top instructor and police rodeo champion. When he is not teaching for the Fort Worth Police Department he coaches in Oklahoma for D.A.R.T. where he has been on the team for the past three years. He says he always enjoys seeing the students master different levels of challenge over the course of the training.

In 2021 Aaron started helping D.A.R.T. as an instructor at Overland Expo where he says he gets to combine his love for the outdoors with his passion for riding. He looks forward to a BDR trip every year with friends when he is not teaching and he enjoys spending his down time analyzing maps to form the perfect route for his next Adventure. He also enjoys sharing his love of the outdoors with his nine-year-old son, Dominic. Dominic has been Aaron’s inspiration for developing a young rider program at the Overland Expo. His wife Chelsea is also involved in Overland Expo, so it really is a family affair.
