KRISTLE SLASONOVERLAND DRIVING INSTRUCTOR

Kristle is an ER Nurse with a love of sunsets and 4-wheel drive trails. She is a current ACLS, BLS, and TNCC instructor.  As an ER nurse with a passion for helping others – working in a fast-paced, exhilarating role, Kristle finds peace when she gets outdoors.  Growing up in Arizona she has always enjoyed hiking and exploring, sparked by her need for adventure, she turned that need into a career as a travel nurse. Thus allowing her to travel the United States, with her 2013 Jeep, so she could seek out the best trails and the best views. She also works on her Jeep, knows it better than anyone, and tries to do all her own repairs. In 2021, she competed in the Rebelle Rally, a 10-day navigation rally that requires competitor teams to use only a map and compass to navigate to designated checkpoints. This not only tested her navigation skills but also her mechanics skills, as there were a few obstacles she had to fix to stay on the road, including changing a spark plug, coil pack, and patching a tire.
