LOU LOBSINGERSALES DIRECTOR

Born and raised in Detroit (there is no “South Detroit”), Lou brings over 25 years of automotive sales and marketing management experience to the Overland Expo team.  While most of his career has been focused on racing and performance, Lou made the jump to overlanding while he was at American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) and he quickly developed a love for the overlanding lifestyle.  As he likes to say he “traded tire walls for rock walls!”  Lou’s extensive management experience includes GM Performance, Torqued Distribution, and most recently, AEV.

A graduate of the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, Lou has two older sons, one playing professional basketball in Europe while the other one runs track and cross country for Wayne State University in Detroit.  In his spare time, Lou enjoys hiking and camping in Northern Michigan. He is an avid reader, accomplished musician, and dog lover.  His favorite overlanding trip was weeklong trek through Moab’s San Rafael Swell into Colorado covering Ophir Pass, Alpine Loop, Poughkeepsie Gulch, and several forgotten mining towns.
