EMILY BODENEVENTS & MARKETING DIRECTOR

Born and raised in Kentucky, Emily Boden grew up on a horse farm where her love for horses began. She competed on the AQHA circuit as a youth and later in NCHA shows as an adult—horses remain her first true passion. Today, Emily channels that same dedication and competitive spirit into her role as Show Director for Overland Expo, the leading series of vehicle-based adventure events in North America.  

Emily oversees the strategic planning, execution, and marketing for flagship events in Flagstaff, PNW, Loveland, and the recently launched Overland Expo SoCal. Her leadership drives innovation and community engagement, creating immersive experiences that inspire exploration.  

Beyond Overland Expo, Emily serves on the SEMA Future Leaders Network (FLN) Select Committee as Chair of the Events Subcommittee, helping shape the next generation of automotive industry leaders. She believes that people with great passion can achieve great things—a philosophy that guides her work and life.  

Emily’s vision for Overland Expo is to create unforgettable experiences that bring together a passionate community of explorers, innovators, and storytellers—fueling the spirit of adventure for years to come.
