NICK CIMMARUSTIOVERLAND DRIVING INSTRUCTOR

Nick comes from a northern CA town in the Sierras right at the beginning of the famous Rubicon Trail. Nick is a veritable swiss army knife of a guy who spends his time exploring the deserts of the west and driving technical rock crawling trails with his family. When he isn’t on trail, Nick is likely to be found in his shop fabricating or repairing all manner of off-road capable vehicles, teaching, or working with the local fire department as a Firefighter/EMT.

As an I4WDTA certified instructor, working with Barlow Adventures, Nick teaches classes on vehicle dynamics, driver skills, spotting, vehicle recovery and trail repairs. In addition to being an instructor with Barlow, Nick is the lead trail guide for their northern CA operations including the Rubicon Trail.

As an EMT, Nick leads the safety team for Jeepers Jamboree and other events throughout the year, with experience in patient care, transport and evacuation in austere environments.

Hand-selected as the lead mechanic, Nick has been an integral part of the Rebelle Rally since its inception in 2016, where he and his team repair all manner of breakdowns like welding axles back together that have literally broken in half.
