Event Highlights

  • Hundreds of Educational Sessions Equipped Every Kind of Adventurer – From knot tying and wilderness first aid to camp toilet tips and earning income on the road, this year’s lineup offered practical skills and inspiring insights for every level of explorer.
  • Overland Expo Training Team Delivered Hands-On Skills for Real-World Adventure – Sponsored by ComeUp Winch USA, the Training Team offered a full weekend of classroom learning and behind-the-wheel instruction on a custom-built course—using participants’ own vehicles to ensure skills translate when it matters most. Attendees learned critical techniques including winching, tire repair, and recovery, along with Tread Lightly! principles for responsible travel. Thursday featured full-day small group training, while Friday offered trail course sessions guided by pro instructors. Saturday’s custom-curated sessions provided exclusive one-on-one coaching on and off the trail.
  • Evening Happy Hours Brought the Community Together – Each night at the Oasis Bar and Food Court, attendees gathered to unwind, connect, and kick off the evening’s festivities. Sponsored by Toyo Tires (Thursday), Maxxis Tires (Friday), and Pelican Products (Saturday), these relaxed gatherings were the perfect way to recharge and plan the night ahead.
  • Subaru Pet Adoption Found Forever Homes – All six dogs at Saturday’s Subaru Pet Adoption event found loving homes!
  • Foundation Raffle Raised Over $20K to Support Adventure Access – Thanks to the generosity of attendees and exhibitors, this year’s raffle raised more than $20,000 for the Overland Expo Foundation. Prizes included Nokian Tires, Gazelle Tents, AEV lights, Camp sunglasses, GOSO cookware, DECKED systems, Spyderco and Grizzly knives, TOPS Knives, Civivi Knives, InstaPrivy, Overland Glovebox Guide, Gaia GPS, VSSL, Dry Fox, Rugged Radio, Midland Radio, PACT, Ironclad Gloves, Lone Peak packs, SeaSucker mounts, TireRite gear, MORR Flated, ARB products, and more.
  • Friday Night Film Fest Inspired – About 100 attendees gathered to enjoy a film lineup that sparked conversation and connection. Featured films included Where the Wild Things Are by Grace Schuessler and Latitude 70 by Michelle Francine and Roy Rudnick. Filmmakers were on hand for Q&A sessions, bringing the stories to life.
  • Toyota Game Night Delivered Fun and Surprises – The Toyota booth was packed for Game Night, where surprise celebrity host Andy Bell kicked off the evening. Guests enjoyed chicken skewer bites while swapping stories about their rigs, high-mileage achievements, and model favorites. A lively bingo game and prize-packed raffle followed, with Toyota distributing 2,000 raffle tickets to eager participants.
  • Women Who Wander Fostered Connection and Inspiration – This special networking event brought together women of the overland community for an evening of conversation, mentorship, and support. Azure O’Neil interviewed world traveler, educator, and longtime Overland Expo trainer Sarah Batten, who shared her incredible journey and experiences. Attendees enjoyed a welcoming atmosphere with a full bar and massive charcuterie spread.
  • Howler Brothers Highlighted Adventure Style with Toyota – Howler Brothers showcased their signature Land Cruiser in the Toyota booth, celebrating their partnership and shared passion for adventure and style.
  • Camp Subaru Live! Brought the Vibes with Live Music – Saturday night saw attendees gather on the grass to relax and enjoy live music from Nashville artists Cassidy Daniels and Trevor Panarello, creating a memorable close to the day’s adventures.
  • Arda Exhibitor Lounge Offered Comfort and Connection – The Arda Exhibitor Lounge provided exhibitors with a welcoming space to start the day with breakfast, grab refreshments, and take a break in comfort between the action.

Overland Expo PNW ’25 Recap

We just wrapped up another fantastic Overland Expo PNW with loads of attendees, exhibitors, instructors, and staff. With lots of sun and cool evenings, we beat the heat wave and enjoyed phenomenal weather stunning Redmond, Oregon, and everywhere you looked there was innovative gear, awesome rigs, and people gathered together to learn, connect, and listen to each other’s incredible stories.
