TOBY HAFEROPERATIONS MANAGER

Toby has been an essential part of the Overland Expo team for nearly four years, building on a career in events that began in 2008. Bringing a relentless and non-stop work ethic, he draws on experience in the motor and watersports industries as well as managing both indoor and outdoor tradeshows. Known for his calm, level-headed approach, Toby is the go-to problem solver who strives to find solutions for any challenge. He gets along with everyone and is always ready to lend a hand. Toby truly cares about creating an outstanding experience for both exhibitors and attendees, making him a cornerstone of every successful event. 

When he’s not keeping operations running smoothly, Toby is looking for the next adrenaline rush or adventure. He enjoys bungee jumping and recently completed a tandem base jump. Toby also loves being on the water—whether relaxing on a boat, wakeboarding, or surfing. After recently purchasing a Toyota Tundra, he is now ready to start his own overlanding adventures. He lives in Nashville, TN, and lives by the motto: “No Bad Days.”
