John Pangilinan is a Southern California–based PR and marketing specialist, journalist, and photographer with deep roots in automotive culture. A longtime enthusiast, he has built a range of custom vehicles across styles, bringing a practical, enthusiast-driven perspective to his storytelling and brand work.

Professionally, John has focused on helping automotive and lifestyle brands connect authentically with enthusiasts. He began his career in motorsports, including over a decade as PR manager for the Formula Drift championship. Today, through his agency JP+CO, he leads communications and strategy for brands such as Toyo Tires.

His work spans editorial storytelling, brand strategy, and experiential events, including producing the annual Toyo Trailpass gathering and collaborating closely with creators and industry leaders across the space. As a builder, his vehicles have earned industry recognition, reflecting a design-forward approach that balances function and style.

Outside of work, John enjoys life with his wife and two young kids, coaches youth sports, and trains in Brazilian jiu jitsu.
